Jamie Anderson of Sister Interview

We had a little chat to Jamie Anderson of Sister just to have a catch up on where the band is and what their plans are for the rest of the year.

Noizze: How are you and how has touring been? Jamie: I'm just fine and it has been great so far! Noizze: You are well known for being a fantastic live act, what would you say you are doing differently for that to be the case? Jamie: I love to see bands that I can lose control and bang my head to. I think our strongest point is that we want to become one with the audience . If we give 100% the crowd will do it as well. For me a Rock n Roll show is all about loosing your mind and live in the moment. Noizze: Whats the music scene like in Sweden and how does it compare to the rest of Europe? Jamie: There are so many good bands from Sweden so the audience is kind of spoiled here to be honest. The rest of Europe seems to love bands from especially Sweden and of course that makes me proud! Noizze: So who would you say your influences are? Jamie: Main influences are the same as when I was a kid.. Twisted sister, Mötley crue, Skid Row, Wasp, Motörhead,Kiss, bla bla... Noizze: How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard of you before? Jamie: It's kind of hard for me to put my own band in a specific genre. But some Punk,Dark,Metal. Noizze: What has been your biggest achievement to date? Jamie: It's not easy to choose, I'm really glad for a lot of things we have achieved with Sister but when we toured with Skid Row was a blast for me. Noizze: What is next for Sister? Jamie: To play as much as possible in 2017. Noizze: Lastly, if this was your last day on earth, how would you like to see the day out? Jamie: Impossible to answer. Ask me again around 2070...
