After announcing their signing to the celebrated Rise Records (Pvris, At The Drive In, American Nightmare) the Brighton 4 piece Black Peaks are back with their colossal new track 'Can't Sleep'.
The track is the first release in almost 2 years and comes following a whirlwind tour cycle that promoted their fantastic debut full length Statues. It's the first taster of their new upcoming yet to announced album and the first material with new bassist Dave Larkin, who was formally part of the Bristolian act The Saint Pierre Snake Invasion.
On the new track, vocalist Will Gardner states: "The song was written in response to a very difficult time for the band and myself personally. Since writing 'Statues', our political environment has seen a big shift, and some extremely xenophobic and racist comments and actions have been aired in the media, at whom a lot of the anger and fire in these lyrics is directed. Whatever your view is politically, this song deals anxiety, paranoia and insomnia, all stemming from being swept along with a decision you do not agree with."
The group have also announced a new tour supporting the mighty Marmozets, which will take place in May, along with a string of festival dates which will take them all over the UK. Check out the full list of dates below and make to watch the stunning video for 'Can't Sleep'.
