Bloodstock Announces Mammoth Thirteen New Bands

Bloodstock is just 9 weeks away and are still announcing new acts to appear - joining the bill are an incredible thirteen new bands including some winners from the regional rounds of Metal 2 The Masses! Friday welcomes Stoke champions Vulgore, who’ve been described as “groove-laden melodic death metal”, Leicester victors & hardcore fans Severn Hells, and Scottish prog metallers Turbyne, who picked up a spot via their CD application. On Saturday you can check out heavyweights Ashborn, who nabbed the top place in the Milton Keynes final, and Hitchin winners 13. Or if you prefer a bit of death metal in the vein of Obituary and Entombed, head over to see CD applicants, the West Yorkshire-based Valafar. Recently reformed and now champions of the Norwich final, Crawlblind join proceedings on Sunday. Also appearing that day, Burnley conquerors Autocracy could be your new favourites, if you like a bit of melodeath. But if you’re more into Orange Goblin, Pantera, and Kyuss, don’t miss Carlisle doomsters Drudge, whose twin vocal layered approach might pay homage to the likes of Alice In Chains, but their doom/groove-soaked heart belongs to Sabbath-esque riffs.

Also announced to appear on this year’s Jagermeister Stage line up are Kamikaze Test Pilots bringing the noise on Friday, Iced Earth bassist Luke Appleton will be breaking out some solo acoustic tunes on Saturday along with Norwich bruisers Alpha Omega as well as Dawn of Anubis on Sunday.

All this as well as Friday headliners and metal gods Judas Priest, Saturday’s headliners Gojira and Sunday’s final act Nightwish, along with black metal maestros Emperor, melodeath godfathers At The Gates and even more incredible bands - this is one stacked lineup we at Noizze can’t wait to dig our teeth into! BLOODSTOCK will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 9th-12th August 2018. Get additional information at and check out the new bands below:
