Just off the back of their first ever UK tour, Eleine are rising up the ranks of the symphonic metal charts and taking the world by storm!

Eleine hail from Landskrona, Sweden and were founded when lead vocalist and model Madeleine Liljestam started working with the record label Cardiac Records along with co-founder and guitarist Rikard Ekberg in 2011. After four long years with Eleine releasing two singles in the meantime; ‘The Gathering Storm’ and ‘Land Beyond Sanity’, the band were ready to release their first album in 2015. The fantastically self-titled record was released with great praise and achievement.

The album was decorated by emotions of symphonic metal elements with a unique clasp of middle eastern vibes to drag listeners in from all angles. The enticing eight tracks on their debut album were covered in promise and would seduce fans from all over the world into the musical path of Eleine.

After a year of successful shows and excelling reviews, Eleine and the label Cardiac Records decided to go their separate ways. After this event, Rikard and Madeleine decided to set up their own label Algoth Records working with other musical distributions in the process.

In 2017, Eleine were ready to drop another single: ‘Hell Moon (We Shall Never Die)’ and they would embark on a tour special guesting to heavy metal legends W.A.S.P. The tour and single were received with a high degree of positivity and praise.

After the successful single was released, the band would release their very much anticipated second album Until The End in February 2018. This album became extremely successful and peaked in the Swedish album charts at number one.

However, after the huge success of the album, the band added guitarist Ludwig Dante to the Eleine Family before being invited to tour with fellow swedes and melodic death metal heavyweights Arch Enemy. This would mark the beginning of the ‘Until The End World Tour’ where along the way the band were able to perform at Sabaton Open Air Festival and Brighton's Mammothfest, performing with acts such as Bleed From Within and Ingested. Whilst their first European headline tour may be running to a close now, it's clear that Eleine have carved a place for themselves within the grandiose halls of symphonic metal and will rise up to become leaders of the underground scene in the coming months. Make sure to stream Until The End here before they head back to our shores.
