Bloodstock Add Seven New Bands and Thirteen New Coach Pickup Points!

March 11, 2019

The UK’s premiere metal festival Bloodstock have added a slew of names to an already great 2019 line-up along with a huge 13 new coach points, to make it even easier to get to for what is sure to be one of the biggest and best years yet!

Belgian death metal kings Aborted recently released their latest album TerrorVision and will be playing the Ronnie James Dio stage on Sunday, saying “Bloodstock! It’s been a while! We couldn’t be more thrilled to lay waste to thee in the most offensive of manners this coming summer. Prepare my friends, the blastbeat is coming!”

Hailing from sunny California, Skeletal Remains join the mayhem on the Sophie Lancaster stage on Saturday - they’re currently touring latest record Devouring Mortality like madmen and will be hitting the US with hardcore heroes Hatebreed soon.

From the land Down Under comes The Lazys, with some real rock’n’roll swagger reminiscent of legendary countrymates AC/DC and will be bringing the party to the Sophie Stage on Sunday.

Ministry’s guitarist Sin Quirin brings his classic metal outfit 3 Headed Snake again to the Sophie Stage on Saturday.

After making waves with last year’s excellent, mind-bending Melted On The Inch, released by the wonderful folks at Holy Roar records, the mighty Boss Keloid will be bringing their own unique strain to the Sophie Stage on Sunday.

If self-induced whiplash is more your speed, German crossover thrashers Dust Bolt bring the noise to the Sophie Stage on Saturday - get those necks warm!

Last but not least, Red Method, featuring former members of Meta-Stasis and The Defiled, are set to release their debut record For The Sick sometime this year and will be introducing themselves to the world on the Sophie Stage on Saturday.

They join the already announced bands including headliners Sabaton, Parkway Drive and Scorpions.

And to make it even easier than ever to get to Catton Hall this year, coach partners Big Green Coach had a huge response to their question about demand for extra coach stations - so they’ve added a whopping thirteen new stops for their special Bloodstock coaches that’ll drop you off inside the gates!

They’re now offering pickups from: Aberdeen, Birkenhead, Birmingham, Bradford, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Carlisle, Chester, Dundee, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow Gloucester, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, London (Victoria Coach Station), Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Newport, Norwich, Oxford, perth, Plymouth, Preston, Sheffield, Southampton, Sunderland, Swansea, Taunton and Worcester. So there’s no excuse now!
