Booze Cruise Festival Unveils Full Lineup And Day Spilts For First Ever UK Event

After quickly becoming one of the fastest growing festivals over in the mainland, Booze Cruise Festival have unveiled it’s full lineup and day splits for it’s inaugural UK event.

Taking place at The Exchange and The Stag And Hounds in Bristol between the dates of 24th and the 26th of May, the premier DIY punk festival will be hosting over 50 artists from 9 countries over the course of the festival, with Bong Mountain, Cultdreams and Apologies I Have None set to headline the festival's UK debut.

Also set to appear during the course of the weekend are the likes of Weatherstate, Fresh, The Winter Passing, Ducking Punches, Oxygen Thief, Woahnows, Kali Masi and many other fantastic artists well worth your attention.

Since the festivals inception in Hamburg, the event has swiftly became a staple of the festival season in it’s native Germany, with previous renditions of the festival hosting the likes of Pkew Pkew Pkew, Martha, Doe and Nervus.

On the subject on bringing the festival to the UK, festival organiser Stefan Jonas has stated:

“We like Booze Cruise to feel like a boozy gathering of friends rather than a music festival. We love small, sweaty, wild shows, so seeing bands playing in clubs with a max capacity of 350 —all day long for 3 days straight—sounds like paradise to me. That, and you don’t need to sleep in a tent!”

"We like to think we have a unique line up—almost none of the bands playing could be found on the bill of any other festivals this year. We love the idea of being a festival for genuine music discovery. Chances are you haven’t heard of all of the bands playing in both Bristol and Hamburg before, but you might end up walking home with a record by your new favourite band." "Diversity and inclusivity are very important to us, and we hope that our artist programming and marketing reflect the family atmosphere we want to create at the festival."

In true vein to the ethos of the genre it hosts, Booze Cruise is a socially conscious event and prides itself in supporting a number of causes. This year will see a portion of profits donated to See Watch, a charity organisation that aids in the rescue of refugees stranded in the Mediterranean Sea.

The UK leg of Booze Cruise festival takes place between the Friday the 24th of May and Sunday 26th of May in various venues across central Bristol. Tickets are avialble via this link and check the full lineup and day splits below.
