Just when you thought this year’s ArcTanGent couldn’t possibly get any bigger, the festival has just dropped another surprise bombshell of an announcement.
This year’s rendition of the festival will see the introduction of a brand new marquee that will house the festival merch area, a new bar and most excitingly of all, a brand new stage.
"Musically, it will be a bit different to the other stages at the festival” Says festival organiser James Scarlett. “With the bands ranging from stripped-back-acoustic through to industrial-hip-hop via piano-jazz and lots more! There will hopefully be something for everyone and I think people are going to love it.”
Announced for this brand new stage are the math rock darlings A-Tota-So, Bristolian riff machine Oxygen Thief and the dynamic grunge favourites Soeur.
They will be joined by Charlie Barnes, Haunt The Woods, Howard James Kenny, Kinlaw & Franco Franco, No Violet, Ogives, Pave, Quriaq, Steve Strong, Theo, Torsten Jensen, Twin Siblings and VLMV.
The festival organisers are currently asking for suggestions for this new stage over on Facebook, so head on over if you’ve got something better than ‘Stagey McStage Face’
ArcTanGent Festival 2019 takes place between the 15th and 17th August at Fernhill Farm, Bristol. This year hosts the biggest lineup in the festival’s history and tickets are absolutely flying out. The last renaming tickets are available here, but you better be quick.
