One of the biggest weekends of the alternative festival season, Slam Dunk Festival have announced even more names for their 2020 event today.
Fresh from playing their biggest headline show to date at Brixton Academy, While She Sleeps will be retuning to perform at Slam Dunk again later this spring, with the British metalcore titans headlining the Jägermeister Stage this year. Pennsylvanian annihilators Code Orange will also be joining the packed Slam Dunk lineup later this year.
One of the most feared and renowned live bands currently on the planet, today’s announcement comes following the confirmation of their forthcoming record Underneath, due out March 13th via Roadrunner Records.
Despite the act being confirmed last year, after after months of speculation and hope it's also been confirmed that The Wonder Years will be performing their breakout record The Upsides in full in celebration of it's tenth anniversary at both Slam Dunk dates.
Also confirmed for the bank holiday event today are emo revivalists Doll Skin, indie rockers This Wild Life, the Parisian easycore outfit Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and cult rockers A. Bringing up the ska end of things in today’s announcement are [Spunge], Popes Of Chillitown, Me First & The Gimmie Gimmies and The Suicide Machines, with the later two completing this year's Punk In Drublic Stage that's headlined by NOFX and Pennywise.
Slam Dunk Festival once again takes place on Saturday 23rd May at Temple Newsam, Leeds and on Sunday 24th May at Hatfield Park. Tickets are already flying out, with VIP tickets already long sold out. Remaining tickets and further details can be found on their website here.
