Cardiff Music Awards Announces Finalists For 2020, Voting Now Open!

Local scene represent - the Cardiff Music Awards are returning once again! This year the awards will be bigger and better than ever and they’ve just announced the awesome finalists.

Among the 100 plus names announced as finalists are Holding Absence, Bloom, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, Nightlives and HANA2K.

We can also reveal that we (that is, Noizze) have been named a finalist for 'Best Music Press' alongside last year's winner Minty’s Gig Guide. It’s amazing to be recognised as such, and we’d like to give a huge thanks to anyone that nominated us before we finish writing this piece.

Cardiff Music Awards will once again be held at Tramshed on Thursday 9th April 2020, with things kicking off as early as 6pm. Tickets are currently on sale for an earlybird price of £10 and we really recommend getting one. It’ll mean you can catch acts including Local, Adwaith, Lucas J Rowe, and Ladies of Rage DJs. Pretty awesome if we do say so ourselves.

To ensure you witness your favourite Welsh acts winning an award at this year’s event, make sure you get your votes in early. We’ll see you there on what is sure to be an exciting night.

Voting is now open to the public and it will close at midnight on 2nd April. Full details, conditions and finalists can be checked on the Cardiff Music Awards website.
