Just in case you where undertaking a social media detox, 2000 Trees Festival announced a number of bands last week via their social media platforms, confirming one band per day Monday to Saturday.
Joining the ranks captained by the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Creeper, Knocked Loose and The Amazons are the energised and unhinged midland trio God Damn, grunge upstarts Marisa And The Moths and the alt-rock riff darlings Press To Meco, with the later confirmed as being Neu Stage headliners.
Confirmed for exclusive forest sessions this year are classic 2000 Trees staples Will Varley and Beans On Toast. Both acts will be playing stripped down and purely acoustic sets within the pine scented environment of the intimate Forest stage later this summer.
Speaking of 2000 Trees veterans, it’s also been confirmed that the legendary Thrill Collins will be retuning Upcote Farm once again, with the jazz-gone-folk-gone-wild party igniters performing two sets across the span of the festival. Thrill Collins will be playing a midnight set on the Forest Stage on Wednesday night before playing a full silent set on main stage Thursday evening following Jimmy Eat World. Those who caught the group’s silent set in The Cave last year will know these are not performances to be missed.
2000 Trees Festival takes place at Upcote Farm, Cheltenham, between 9-11th July 2020. More bands are set to be confirmed soon. Tickets and early entry passes for Wednesday 8th July are available now via the festival’s website.
