ArcTanGent Festival Announces Third Wave Of Acts For 2020, Confirms Second Headliner!

Boasting a lineup that’s already topped by the likes of Opeth, Swans, TesseracT, The Locust and Maybeshewill, the award winning celebration of contemporary music that is ArcTanGent Festival have announced their third wave of artists for 2020 today, including their second main stage headliner.

Headlining the coveted main stage on Thursday is the illusive and championed Chelsea Wolfe. Having released her acclaimed sixth long play Birth Of Violence back in September via Sargent House, Chelsea Wolfe has spent the last decade captivating audiences across the globe with their innovative and haunting fusion of folk, doom, post-metal and goth. With her headline set being her first ever ArcTanGent performance, today’s announcement is undeniably a blessing for the many who have been praying for her inclusion for years.

In relation, representing the post-rock royalty within today’s announcement are Caspian, Emma Ruth Rundle and Talons, with ArcTanGent 2020 being Talons’ penultimate show before their disbandment later this year.

They will be joined by fellow newcomers, Bell Witch & Aerial Ruin, Intronaut, Arabrot, Wheel, The Guru Guru, Latitudes, Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, Bonnacons of Doom, Jakub Zytecki, Parachute For Gordo, Binge, Stoßzahn, Pollyanna Holland-Wing, The Most, Shake the Baby Til the Love Comes Out, Spook The Horses, Traps / Wess Meets West, Paranoid Void, Catbamboo, Beige Palace and STANLÆY.

On the subject of today’s announcement festival organiser James Scarlett has said; “As far as I’m concerned this is the best line up we’ve ever had at ATG and I really can’t wait to see what Chelsea Wolfe has instore for the Thursday night Main Stage headline slot. We’ve been talking about making this happen for a few years now and 2020 just felt like the right time to make it a reality. Bring on August!”

ArcTanGent Festival takes place at Fernhill Farm, Bristol, between the dates of August 21st – August 22nd.. Tickets and bundles are on sale now via the festival’s website. Be quick though; capacity will not be increasing this year and this will sell out in due time!
