After the summer just gone, it’s safe to say we’re all in dire need of some good and exciting news to get us through a grim long winter. Thankfully, the award winning 2000 Trees have just confirmed the vast majority of next year’s lineup and goodness me is it a barnstormer of an announcement.
Following on from the previously announced Thursday headliner of Jimmy Eat World, Thrice will be headlining Friday performing their ceremonial record Vheissu in full. Previously announced for this year’s cancelled festival, 2021 will play host to Thrice’s 2000 Trees debut and is set to be a colossal set by one of the most inspirational acts.
Whilst the final headliner is still set to be revealed, the lineup thus far features 110 artists of the highest calibre. Across the span of the weekend, Upcote Farm is set to play host to sets from the likes of The Menzingers, Creeper, Crossfaith, Boson Manor, Laura Jane Grace, Knocked Loose, Stray From The Path, Black Peaks, Loathe – and of course – Thrill Collins.
Bar from such colossal names, the undercard is absolute packed with some of the best emerging talent to be found, including the likes of DITZ, Orchards, Dream Nails, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Phoxjaw, Superlove, Lande Hekt, Svalbard, Press To Meco and Vukovi, with the latter two being confirmed as Neu Stage headliners. If that wasn’t enough, the festival has also confirmed a few surprises such as Young Guns playing All Our Kings Are Dead set, the live return of No Devotion and the returning Lonely The Brave.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Trees without the ever cosy Forest Stage. Whilst the full Forest lineup is still under lock and key, it’s been confirmed that The Menzingers, Laura Jane Grace, Anti-Flag and The Amazons will be treating the festival to intimate stripped back sets next year. In relation, Wednesday night will see Press To Meco, Non Canon, Andy Oliveri and more playing Forest sets to all the early arrivals.
As per usual, 2000 Trees Festival 2021 will take place at it’s home of Upcote Farm, Cheltenham, between 7th-10th July 2021. In celebration of the announcement, the festival is also offering super early bird tickets with 20% off for one week early. Can’t really say no to an offer like that can you.
Tickets and more information are available here. More details and artists are set to be announced soon but for the mean time marvel at the splendour of the lineup so far below.
