2000 Trees Festival announces Idles, PUP, Rolo Tomassi and more for 2022!

September 28, 2021|NEWS

We may be entering the cold darkness of winter, but the hype for festival season 2022 is gearing up; the award winning 2000 Trees Festival have just announced the second wave of bands for next years event.

Headlining the Saturday night of next year’s bash is none other than IDLES. The band’s first ever 2000 Trees headline set, their appearance next year follows on from their first set at the festival back in 2016 just before their meticulous rise to prominence. They will be appearing alongside the previously announced headliners of Thrice and Jimmy Eat World.

Also announced today are PUP, Bob Vylan, Chubby And The Gang, Haggard Cat, Hundredth and Rolo Tomassi, who will be appearing as a festival exclusive. They also will be joined by fellow newcomers Crossfaith, Royal Republic, Kneecap, The Wytches, Vukovi, Press to MECO, Baby Dave, Beans on Toast, Will Varley, Lande Hekt, Katie Malco, Lauran Hibberd and Lizzy Farrall.

The announcement comes following the first instalment of a string of special joint events with it’s sister festival ArcTanGent and the second cancelation of the festival this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. With two years worth of energy pent up and with the lineup already boasting names such as Knocked Loose, The Get Up Kids, Lonely The Brave, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Laura Jane Grace among others the festival is scheduled for a sell out long in advance.

2000 Trees Festival takes place at Upcote Farm, Cheltenham, between the July 7th – 9th 2022. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here. See the full lineup so far below.
