Merseyside metalcore newcomers rozemary are preparing to drop their second single and we're delighted to be able to premier the brand new track, apollo.
Following on from the release of the frankly massive debut track that was ’empty ceiling”, we are delighted to premiere metalcore band (complimentary) rozemary‘s second ever release, ‘apollo’. Officially releasing tomorrow and described by guitarist Ved as “a track that looks to solidify the sound that emerged on ’empty ceiling’, it’s got the catchy choruses, the big riffs, lots of layering and of course, the breakdown(s)”. It’s another song that belies the bands relative youth. Vocalist Izabel Lavin’s voice once again stuns with her range, from soaring hooks to banshee shrieks over a driving backdrop of hypnotic drums and crunching riffs from Ved.
Regarding the tracks lyrics, the band said “We feel ‘apollo’ is some of our best work, exploring the feeling of not being able to help someone close to you in times of hardship, and the helplessness you feel with that.” Continuing their growing momentum with a small UK tour just after this song drops and stating that “a third track will hopefully be coming soon before we start looking to create longer projects”, it won’t be long before rozemary are the band set to be one of the UK’s hottest prospects.
