Slam Dunk North, Temple Newsam 2025: The Review

This year’s Slam Dunk line up felt like a perfect blend of classic favourites and fresh talent, clearly designed to satisfy both long-time festival veterans and newcomers alike. The bill boasted iconic acts like The Used alongside exciting new blood such as Scowl, all while celebrating the much-anticipated headline debut of A Day to Remember. We take you through what we saw on the second leg of the weekend.

Knives – GLITTER | Album Review

In a landscape smothered by algorithmic sterility and suffocating overproduction, Knives’ debut album tears through this idle fabric with grounded intent and scathing delivery. GLITTER is a larger than life, theatrical production of chaotic, punk-forward soundscapes, peppered with jazz and metal influences that catapult the band from fledgling noise-makers into a self-assured force to be reckoned with. The album’s production refrains from over-indulgence and carefully brings their intricate layers to the forefront when appropriate.

Jivebomb – Ethereal | Album Review

Ethereal is a petrol bomb of sonic viscera that comically juxtaposes the angelic and soft connotations of its title.
