Delaire The Liar Share New Song ‘Locked (For A Reason)’!

Dynamic three-piece Delaire The Liar have today released their new track ‘Locked (For A Reason)’. Featuring a video inspired by self-isolation and loneliness, the track is the follow up to their last single ‘Shovel’ and see’s the band enigmatically exploring themes of failure and self acceptance. On the subject of the track frontman Ffin Colley states “‘Locked (For A Reason)’ handles discomfort, failure and acceptance. A song about dissecting every poor choice you’ve made, every aggression you regret. In a period of time where seclusion is necessary, all that opportunity to think can really force you to the mirror and urge you to break it. The video tries to explore all of those motions of sadness; the intensity, the relief of social interaction from hundreds of miles away but ultimately it’s brevity and the difficulty in trying to remain motivated whilst the world is on fire.” The past several years have seen Delaire The Liar jump from achievement from achievement. Currently signed to Crooked Noise Records, the band have recently toured with the likes of Creeper, Coldbones, Vukovi, Gouge Away, Mom Jeans and many more, brining their deeply intimate take on emotional alt-rock to many. During this period of lockdown the band are streaming every Monday at 6pm on Instagram and are currently confirmed for 2000 Trees, Great Escape Festival and Burn It Down Festival. Expect more to come from the band very soon.
