It’s currently an extremely dark time for live music, regardless of your genre or stylings of choosing. Hopefully this period of mass cancellations should be over by the end of Summer. Least it better be as Brighton’s Bash At The Beach have just confirmed the first wave of bands for it’s inaugural Autumn event and it’s an utter scorcher of an announcement. Taking place at the newly refurbished beachfront venue Chalk between 27th – 28th September, Bash At The Beach will host both some of the biggest names and best emerging talent the global hardcore scene has to offer, with respective headliners Kublai Khan TX and Malevolence topping the event’s bill. Also confirmed for Bash At The Beach 2020 thus far are Justice For The Damned, Black Tongue, Antagonist AD, Desolated, Blood Youth, I Am, Paleface, Arkdown, Fangs, As Flames Rise and Stone Head, with many more still to be announced in due time. On the topic of the announcement, promoter Empire Music have said “I put the event together to be able to put some of the best underground bands out there on the same stage as some of the more known bands around the world. We have a five year plan for how to grow the idea and so far everything has worked out nicely. As to what to expect, a lot of carnage, the bands playing all breathe energy and life into the crowd, so from the first band until the headline, we expect absolute mayhem” Bash At The Beach takes place at Chalk, Brighton, between 27th and 28th September 2020. Early bird tickets are set to go on sale soon. Make sure to check out the event page for information on tickets and further details.
